Robert Moore, Jr.

About

Robert Moore, Jr. is a native of the Mississippi/Louisiana Gulf Coast. Through many moves to diverse places like west Texas, Atlanta, and northeastern Ohio, he wound up in Grand Forks, ND where he works as a lab manager at UND. An astronomer and geologist by training, he can frequently be found pondering a universe of “What if…” type questions.

It shouldn’t be surprising that his writing covers the realms of science fiction, fantasy, modern fantasy, and some horror and science-based non-fiction. He has stories published in the UND literary magazine FLOODWALL (“Lindsey Cochran: Retail Exorcist” vol. 2, Iss. 9 and “Siren’s Wail” and “Why Do We Call Them Images” vol. 2, Iss. 11) and the Moorhead Friends Writing Group’s anthology, RETURN TO EFFHAM FALL: TALES OF LOST SOULS (“Family Secrets”). He hopes to have his first novel published in early Fall of 2025.
